FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF

FLAMING COW is looking for enthusiastic candidates to join the front of house team AND be part of a NEW CASUAL DINING CONCEPT opening in the area under a similar style.

Based in Eton, a short walk from Windsor, we opened to the local community last December, serving the area’s finest gourmet burgers, hot dogs and ribs! With our gaining reputation, we’ve decided to open yet another restaurant with the same kind of ambiance serving lovers of all things seafood. All positions are sought from management level to waiting staff. A competitive salary is offered.

BACK OF HOUSE

All positions are sought from Head Chefs, line chefs to kitchen porters who want training to become chefs one day. NVQ level 2 and Food Hygiene Certificates are a plus as well as a sound grasp of the English language. All candidates should be confident working in a high volume short order environment and have a good understanding of producing fresh food.

Check out these new bad boys on our menu launching early February – many have been tested as specials over the last month & proved so popular they have earned their place on our new menu!

Skinny Moo – 6oz beef patty, coleslaw and salad, french dressing on the side. £7

Big Brunch – 6oz beef patty, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, portobello mushrooms, fried egg & ketchup on side.   £10

Dirty Cow – Two 6oz beef patties, 6 slices of American cheese, house mayo, chopped lettuce, diced white onions and gherkins. £14

Bavette steak and fries – 8oz Bavette steak with garlic and thyme marinade, rocket and red onion salad, with house fries. £11

Food provenance at Flaming Cow

Wondering where our meat comes from?

We have spent a good deal of time talking to suppliers, looking at their produce and provenance to pick what we think is the best for our menu.

BEEF – sourced from Dedham Vale, Essex and dry aged for a minimum of 28 days. Gorgeous! The beef in Ealing is halal.

LAMB – sourced from Westmill Farm in Hertfordshire and Launceston in Cornwall and is Halal.

CHICKEN – all our chicken meets Red tractor standard, is Halal and comes from Banham in Norfolk.

PORK – all our pork is free range and comes from Eye in Suffolk.

HOT DOGS – all our hot dogs are made from pure beef, are Halal, gluten free, and made and smoked in Buckinghamshire.

Flaming Cow Eton is open!

And the first reviews for Flaming Cow are wonderful. In these early days your feedback is really valuable to us so keep the reviews coming!

¨Friendly staff and good food. Chicken Parmesan and sweet potato fries were really good. Light and open which was a nice change from the traditional dark pub.¨

´Very impressed with the Flaming Cow – the food is very good and brilliant value, the service is excellent – I will no doubt visit many times in 2015¨

´I went for the Redneck burger – a brioche bun with beef burger (served medium unless otherwise stated) with pulled pork in bbq sauce and pickles on top. It was totally delicious – I would strongly recommend it.´

Flaming canopy delays our opening

We were eagerly awaiting the arrival of our metal canopy for the kitchen… but it went up in flames a few days ago when the metalwork factory in Tottenham burnt down!

Six fire engines and 35 firefighters fought the blaze at Archway Sheet Metal Works, in Paxton Road, for almost three hours on 25th November.

This does affect our planned opening which was this weekend as we need the canopy to operate the extraction over the grills in the kitchen. We’re making other plans and will let you know the next opening date when we have it!

Getting arty…

In keeping with our great new pop meets industrial look, we wanted some fantastic artwork on our walls.

We can’t reveal the whole look yet but we can give you a sneak preview.

To add to the ambience of the place we spent a long time finding exactly the lights we wanted – they are amazing!
